There’s been a lot of talk about creating cultures of accountability. Leaders want their teams to pick up the slack and don’t want to have to tell their people every little thing that needs to be done. Leaders want their teams to be empowered to jump in and take charge when appropriate, and to move the company forward without being told every step of the way.
